When you are booking your tickets, you can also purchase an animal encounter. This is a private, keeper-led experience with an animal (Tasmanian Devil, Wombat, Sugar Glider, Echidna). Each encounter lasts for 15 minutes and involves interacting with the animal, taking photos and learning from the keeper. At all times, the safety of the animal and your safety is prioritised. Bookings are highly recommended.

The Ultimate Tour is the most in-depth way to experience East Coast Natureworld. In your small, private group, you will be guided around the park by one of our keepers. Along the way, you will have many exclusive and up close animal encounters. The Ultimate Tour is all inclusive and includes park entry, animal feed and multiple animal encounters (representing great value!). Bookings are essential.

Devils in the Dark is an after-dark tour focusing on Tasmanian Devils. You will meet at Natureworld and be transported by bus through the wildlife park to a secret location where you will enter a custom-built Devil 'hide'. Here you will watch up-close as our Devils devour a carcass while you enjoy a glass of fine Tasmanian wine and nibble on cheeses. An outstanding experience!
-
We have a friendly mob of kangaroos, wallabies and pademelons at Natureworld which you are welcome to pat, if they approach you. You may also like to purchase some kangaroo feed from reception to feed these animals from your hand. Please don't feed or attempt to touch any other animals.
Animal encounters or our Ultimate Tour are a great option if you would like to have photographs with animals.
-
For standard park entry, bookings are not required and you are welcome to pay on the day.
Bookings are highly recommended for animal encounters.
Bookings are essential for the Ultimate Tour and Devils in the Dark.
